Introduction:-
The population problem has become the biggest problem .it is not only Indian people problem but also whole world problem. There are two reasons for this fast growth in population.
(1).family planning efforts could not bring down birth at the require pace.
(2).immigration from across the borders has continued unabated.
That’s why there are about 200 minion people in our country.
The Size of the Population :
India Has About 15 Per Cent of The World Total Populations. This is, every seventh person in the world is an Indian. In 1971, Indian’s population was 54.81 crores, but by 1989 it rose to 68.38 crores.The annual increase in India’s population is estimated to be one crores and thirty lakhs of people
Causes of the population problem :
1. High birth rate and low death rate are two main causes of increasing population.
2. The development of the modern medical science has led to marked decline in death rate many of the even those diseases which were considered incurable are cured now. And third region is that early marriage and unrestricted growth of families are also main causes of increasing the population problem.
The Pattern of growth :
Now Let’s Look At The Pattern of Populations Growth. It is growing faster in the rural areas resulting in not only bigger landless families farcing migration to towns, increasing the numbers of dweller but also dividing land holding into unviable entities . both These Result In Lowering The Already Low Standard of Living, Health
Care & Education.
As regards more hands to work, we haven’t got the necessary infrastructure-good road,Railway Lines & Electric Power For Faster Industrial Growth. as Far As Electric Power Is Concerned, We Are Not Even in a position to meet domestic requirements.
Conclusion :
We will not be able to remove this problem from the society but we con control over the population problem. if we want to really control over the population problem then we will have to take the effective steps .first step we should not only check immigration across the borders but also to identify illegal immigration and repatriate them to their own country. And second step we should aware such type people who areunknown the effect of population problem
